Platform

The Chaukas intelligence model.

Mission-critical assets do not merely need records. They need context. Chaukas connects identity, knowledge, evidence, history, investigation, recommendation and human authority into one persistent context around the physical asset.

One asset, many layers

Context gathers around the asset — and stays.

This is not a dashboard of records. It is the intelligence context that surrounds a single, identified physical asset.

Seven layers

Each layer answers a different question.

Together they turn scattered information into something an operator can trust and a reviewer can audit.

01

Identity

Exactly which asset is this?

Every asset carries a persistent digital identity — model, serial, configuration and the components that make it up — bound to the physical equipment. Identity is the anchor everything else attaches to, including for composite assets built from several manufacturers' sub-systems.

  • Model & serial
  • Configuration baseline
  • Component structure
  • Custody & location
02

Knowledge

What do we officially know about it?

Approved technical information — manuals, procedures, specifications, diagrams, bulletins — attached to the asset and its configuration, versioned, and visible only where a person's authorisation allows. Knowledge always carries its source and revision.

  • Authorised sources
  • Revision control
  • Access scope
  • Classification-aware
03

Evidence

What has actually been observed?

Inspection observations, photographs, measurements and records are captured against the asset with time, source and reference. Evidence is kept distinct from the conclusions later drawn from it.

  • Field observations
  • Images
  • Measurements
  • Provenance
04

History

What has happened to it, and when?

Maintenance events, findings, modifications and decisions accumulate into persistent asset memory — so the knowledge survives personnel rotation, unit changes and time.

  • Maintenance events
  • Prior findings
  • Configuration changes
  • Decisions
05

Investigation

What explains what we are seeing?

An investigation is scoped to one asset. It assembles the current observation, the asset's history, its technical knowledge and related prior findings into one context — and flags information that is missing.

  • Current observation
  • Related history
  • Knowledge retrieval
  • Information gaps
06

Recommendation

What should be checked or done next?

Recommendations are evidence-grounded: they cite the knowledge and evidence that support them and are labelled by how well grounded they are — established, general, or inferred and to be verified.

  • Cites its evidence
  • Grounding label
  • Next checks
  • Escalation guidance
07

Authority

Who decides — and is it recorded?

Qualified personnel decide. Their decision, with its rationale, becomes the authoritative record. Nothing generated by AI silently overwrites an asset's confirmed identity, configuration or status.

  • Human decision
  • Attributed
  • Audit trail
  • Authoritative record
Architecture at a glance

From the physical asset to an authoritative record.

The conceptual chain that every investigation follows.

01The Asset
  1. 01Physical AssetThe equipment itself, in its operational environment.
  2. 02Asset IdentityExactly which asset, in exactly which configuration.
02The Context
  1. 03Authorised KnowledgeApproved technical information, tied to this asset.
  2. 04EvidenceObservations, images and records, with provenance.
  3. 05HistoryPersistent asset memory that outlives any rotation.
03The Intelligence
  1. 06InvestigationReasoning over this asset's own context and history.
  2. 07Evidence-Grounded RecommendationNext actions that cite what supports them.
04The Authority
  1. 08Qualified HumanAuthorised personnel decide. Always.
  2. 09Authoritative RecordConfirmed outcomes become part of the asset's history.
Where it fits

An intelligence layer beside your systems of record.

Chaukas complements the systems that record and schedule. It does not replace them.

Trust model

Every statement is labelled by what stands behind it.

What the system knows, what it observed, what it inferred, what it recommends, and what a human confirmed — never blurred together.

One platform, every role

The asset seen through the question each role asks.

01

Technician

“What do I need to know about this asset?”

Identity, configuration, the right procedure and its history — at the asset, in the field.

02

Maintenance Lead

“What is driving maintenance risk?”

Open investigations, recurring findings and information gaps, across the assets they answer for.

03

Investigator

“What evidence explains this anomaly?”

Observation, history, knowledge and prior findings assembled in one traceable context.

04

Command / Operations

“What is the readiness picture?”

A fleet-level view of asset condition and open issues — as input to their decision.

05

Administrator

“Who accessed what, and what changed?”

Access scope, classification and a complete audit trail of what was viewed, recorded and changed.
