FAQ

What Chaukas is, what it is not, and where it stands today.

What is Chaukas?

Chaukas is a Mission-Critical Asset Intelligence platform. It builds a persistent intelligence context around a physical asset — its identity, authorised technical knowledge, inspection evidence, history and investigations — so people can understand the asset and act with confidence. It is designed for controlled and disconnected environments.

What does Chaukas actually give the operator?

A persistent context around one asset: its identity, authorised technical knowledge, evidence, history, an investigation when something needs explaining, an evidence-grounded recommendation, a readiness context, and an authoritative record once a qualified human has decided. Those are the outputs — not a general-purpose chat interface.

Is Chaukas a CMMS or EAM?

No. Systems of record — ERP, EAM, CMMS, IoT platforms, document repositories and inspection systems — record the asset, schedule work and store information. Chaukas is designed to sit beside them as an intelligence layer that connects the context around the asset. It is not intended to replace them.

Does Chaukas replace existing systems?

No. Chaukas is designed to complement systems of record — ERP, EAM, CMMS, IoT platforms, inspection systems, document repositories and maintenance systems — by connecting the context around an individual asset. Those systems keep doing their own job; Chaukas gives the people using them an intelligence layer around the asset itself.

Is Chaukas a maintenance chatbot?

No. Chaukas does not answer from general internet knowledge. Its reasoning is designed to work only over the authorised knowledge and evidence attached to a specific asset, and every recommendation is labelled by how well grounded it is.

What happens when the available evidence conflicts?

Chaukas is designed not to silently resolve conflicting evidence into a single fact. Conflicting observations, records or sources are meant to remain distinguishable, with their provenance and context preserved. Where the available evidence is insufficient to support a conclusion, the system is designed to surface that uncertainty and identify what still needs verification, rather than guess.

Does the AI decide whether an asset is ready or safe?

No. Chaukas supports authorised personnel with evidence-grounded context and recommendations. Operational authority — including any determination of readiness or serviceability — stays with qualified humans, and the decision is recorded against them.

Can Chaukas operate in disconnected or air-gapped environments?

Chaukas is designed to support deployments where public-internet connectivity cannot be assumed, including local AI inference and controlled synchronisation where permitted. The exact deployment architecture, network boundaries and synchronisation policy are defined according to the operating environment, together with the operating organisation — we do not claim a fixed, one-size-fits-all air-gapped certification.

Which organisations is it for?

The initial focus is defence — Army, Navy and Air Force — and it is designed to extend to paramilitary and border forces, police, emergency and disaster response, government and public services, and critical infrastructure: anywhere asset failure carries operational consequences.

Does it handle classified information?

Chaukas is not positioned as a classified-data platform by default. It is designed with information classification and access scope in mind. Any deployment involving classified information requires the relevant security, data-residency and compliance review with the operating organisation before it proceeds.

Where is Chaukas today?

Chaukas is a product under development by WeSimplifAI Private Limited. This site describes the product model and the intended architecture. We do not claim customers, deployments, certifications or endorsements that we do not have.

How can we evaluate it?

Request a Brief. Tell us about the assets, environments and operational constraints you need to understand, and we will respond with how Chaukas is designed to address them and what a sensible first evaluation could look like.

Is there self-serve pricing?

No. Chaukas is scoped to the environment, equipment and controls involved, so commercial terms are discussed as part of a brief rather than published.
